FUN WITH FAMILY
Most fun and enjoyed by kids year round is bathing. In the centre of the town of Liptovsky Mikulas you can find Slovak museum of nature protection and speleology, which offers interactive games for children (www.smopaj.sk). Hiking
You can also visit the magical underground, Liptov region offers a lot of caves, whether it is the Demänovska ice cave, Liberty cave (www.ssj.sk) or the Stanisovska cave (www.stanisovska.sk) in the village of Liptovsky Jan or the only public accesible mining work Medvedia stolna (www.stolna.sk)
Winter sports lovers can enjoy great skiing in Jasna ski resort only 7 km from our accomodation. Jasna offers a variety of ski track of different difficulty from begginers to expert skiers (www.jasna.sk). For transport to the resort you can use FREE SKI BUS which stops right in front of our house. In short distance from us there is also a small ski resort of Ziarce (www.ziarce.sk).
Cykling
When visiting in summer, dont forget to bring your bike so you can enjoy the variety of cykling routes offered by the region. You can pick from many, varying in difficulty and length
